The Khronos Projector - emerging technology

From a presentation for SIGGRAPH 2005. "The Khronos Projector is an interactive-art installation allowing people to explore pre-recorded movie content in an entirely new way [...] by touching the projection screen, the user is able to send parts of the image forward or backwards in time."

With 20 years in TV News production and expertise in visual commmunication... I can only imagine how this technology will further scramble the "literal faithfullness" of moving images - exactly the same way PhotoShop forever made us doubt truth in static stills.
