What's so evil about ads anyway? Is it that they a) suck and b) we can't shut them off? Well, you a) can shut this one off anytime you like, but it also b) doesn't suck. Suddenly the game changes.

Maybe if we all blogged about stuff we love regardless of whether it was commercial or not there'd suddenly be a new economy for adverting, a world where ads don't suck, a world where ads find their appropriate market without stinking up the global namespace (or screenspace). Perhaps the ads that suck will be disincentived because people will ignore them. Perhaps ads that don't suck will get talked about and traded like this one, because when you promote the things you like you encourage them. Perhaps this is why contagious media rocks.

Perhaps in the future, all media will be contagious.

BTW, It appears to play all the major formats including MPEG, QT and WMV with the single exception of Real Player Format, so it can handle just about anything. Personally, I want one yesterday. :) more info

For years, I've lived a double life.
In the day, I do my job -
I ride the bus, roll up my sleeves with the hoi polloi.
But at night, I live a life of exhilaration,
of missed heartbeats and adrenalin.
And, if the truth be known, a life of dubious virtue.
I won't deny it - I've been engaged in violence, even indulged in it.
I've maimed and killed adversaries - and not merely in self-defence.
I've exhibited disregard for life, limb and property,
and savoured every moment.
You may not think it, to look at me,
but I have commanded armies and conquered worlds.
And though in achieving these things I've set morality aside,
I have no regrets.
For though I’ve led a double life, at least I can say:
